Peter and Sylvia Szapary came to Kenya in 1995. They fell in love with the country, got married in 1996 and decided to settle in Naivasha. In 1999 they bought some land and they began to grow flowers. That was the start of Wildfire Flowers. Wildfire Flowers employs 540 Kenyans. They grow 17 hectares of roses and 13 hectares of Hypericum. Peter and Sylvia have 3 children: Antonia (1997), Sebastian (1998) and Tatiana (2000).
