In line with our Fairtrade membership, a premium from every stem sold is invested in projects chosen by our workforce.
OUR PROJECTS
Projects implemented by Wildfire Flowers include supporting health centres, building classrooms, providing nutritious meals for children and creating systems for clean water and good sanitation.
SANITATION PROJECTS
Wildfire Flowers has installed running water and rainwater harvesting in the local schools to ensure the children have fresh water for drinking. Sanitation blocks have also been built and maintained in a number of locations.
SCHOOL PROJECTS
Through the Fairtrade scheme, we have funded a wide range of projects that have benefitted the wider community - notably science blocks, classrooms and school meals for juniors.
FAIRTRADE PHILOSOPHY
Wildfire Flowers is a strong proponent of the Fairtrade philosophy. As an accredited member, we adhere to the stringent standards set by the organisation especially gender equality and equal pay.
WELFARE IN THE WORKFORCE
Our many initiatives include a subsidised canteen and sports area for our employees, as well as a busary and scholarship system.
